"To remember forgetting."
Smoke left her lips with a brief smile. I was sitting in a local diner downtown, three weeks since the sun went dark. This town, my hometown, was a short stop on a longer journey—for business. I reckoned that coffee with an old friend would be light; quiet reverence for a shared history.
It was anything but. The world had shifted from the realm of the living into a waking nightmare; mass psychosis kept anyone from noticing. At the end of our meal, she invited me over for coffee the next morning. So, I stayed awake all night in my hotel room, then drove to her place a couple hours early.
She was gone.

try again, there is technically a win condition now (when u unlock the door), previously it was just kinda an explorable scene but now you can read the dialogue & go through a little bit of text-based gameplay.
