this is a student project.

You’re Ichiko Matsubara. A woman moving to a small town for summer vacation, a gift from her mother following 4 years of medical residency.

The body of 16-year-old Sakura Hino was recently found hanging from power lines strung through tree branches at the edge of town.

Her case is quickly ruled a suicide.

You, whoever that might be, decide to help Sakura’s best friend Kaori uncover the true nature of Sakura Hino’s brutal and unjust demise.

山間行（Yamakankou）是一个全景式的新林奇式重写文本，其恐怖悬疑的结构被元虚构的物化所扰乱。

你是第一个孩子。在我们的“游戏”中，你将发现一个坐落于文化窥视者眼中“日本”的小山城，充满了对1970年代歌谣曲的跨大西洋怀旧情怀——而在那怀旧之中，又隐含着1950年代战后理想主义的回音。在那里，你将遇见从事古怪职业的人们与非标准角色原型。在那里，你将遇见骗子、乞丐、江湖术士、和善之人以及天真的人。

而你将借用一场谋杀案的调查，来“谋杀”一个女人的内心恶魔。

也许你不是她，也许谁都不是她，也许这也无妨。但总会有某些东西崩塌，总会有人死去。而你将站在一旁，凝视他们的所作所为，用你的方式去解读，甚至也许——阻止他们。而这，就是“山間行”。
